We are a high paced startup working with Agile methodologies. This is a hybrid position, combining work from home and from the office.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain new features for Lunar's web application, covering both the front end and back end, striving for a seamless user experience.
• Engage in meaningful collaboration with Product Managers to translate requests into actionable design and work plans.
• Collaborate with team members through active participation in brainstorming sessions, code reviews, and design discussions.
• Maintain Lunar's databases and data models for accurate design and high performance.
• Commit to the reliability and performance of our production environment, ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Take part in our CI/CD efforts, aiming for flawless deployment and integration.
• Work with other teams to deliver business crucial features to Lunar’s web application.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience developing SaaS applications.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, understandable terms.
• Solid experience in database management and data modeling.
• Experience developing and maintaining production applications to meet evolving needs.
• Team player with a collaborative approach.

Bonus:

• Proficiency in Typescript and Node.js.
• Familiarity with Vue.js.
• Background in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Redis and Postgres.

Lunar.dev is hiring a  Backend Engineer to join our growing core team of senior engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems to support our products and services.
• Collaborate with others to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Learn new technologies and programming languages as needed to meet project requirements.
• Contribute to the development of our SaaS systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Develop efficient and secure proxy systems.
• Contribute to open-source projects and leverage your background in open-source technologies to enhance our development process.
• Solve complex problems related to third-party API consumption at scale.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role.
• Knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong ability to learn new technologies independently.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in English.

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in Go programming language.
• Familiarity with open-source technologies and contributions to open-source projects.
• Background in building devtools and solutions for developers and DevOps teams.
• Experience with Frontend development.
• Experience in developing SaaS systems.
